The Providers of Central Mass, a group of a dozen private providers of services for people with disabilities will be holding its 32nd annual Legislative Breakfast at 8:30 – 10:00am on May 19th in the Hogan Center at the College of the Holy Cross. We are very pleased and excited to announce that the featured Speaker will be State Senator Robyn Kennedy, Chair of the Committee on Children, Families and Persons with Disabilities.
The annual event is designed to inform the 200+ participants, especially local, state and federal legislators about the current issues facing people with disabilities. This advocacy effort will have speakers and presentations to educate the audience of the 45 legislators in the area, stakeholders and the public to advocate for the services necessary to help people with disabilities live meaningful and productive lives.
The sponsoring agencies include:
Advocates, Arc of Opportunity, Center of Hope Foundation, HMEA, Kennedy Donovan Center, Life-Skills, LUK, Inc., Nonotuck, Open Sky Community Services, Seven Hills Foundation, Sunshine Village, Thrive Support and Advocacy, and Venture Community Services. These agencies support thousands of people in Central Massachusetts.
