Nacho Average Road Race
The Cinco De Mile Road Race is Back!

Southbridge, MA – 4/14/2022 – The Center of Hope Foundation’s Cinco De Mile Road Race is back. Runners will gather on Saturday, April 30, 2022, and run around the town of Southbridge. Participate in a 5K, 10K or enjoy the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk if you’re not ready for more.

The race began over 15 years ago as the Gobble Gobble Road Race and was held the Sunday before Thanksgiving. This was a classic event, and many attended including numerous Team Hoyt Duos. After years of terrible weather, the Center of Hope changed the run becoming the Cinco De Mile, so that all the Rider Athletes could attend. “This is the most important part of our race.” said Erika Travinski, COO at the Center of Hope. “This event is all about opportunity. The opportunity to participate in a road race with everyone else. The opportunity to cross the finish line and feel accomplished. The opportunity to do what everyone else does. That is what this race is about.”

We hope that you can join us on April 30th for this fun event, creating opportunities for the individuals we serve. Runners will receive entry to the road race, a road race tee-shirt, a Sam Adams beer (excluded in the fun run), and a day of fun. There will also be a nacho bar, generously donated by the Burrito Hut.

Awards will be given to top finishers. Be sure to wear your best Cinco De Mayo outfits, there will be a prize for the best dressed.

This race is sponsored by: Team Hoyt, The Hoyt Foundation, Sam Adams, Angel Guard Products, Sneakerama, Cornerstone Bank, Southbridge Credit Union, Burrito Hut, Lamoureux Ford, Southbridge Tire, Exsel Advertising, and Cormier Jewelers.
